Support & FAQs
Bixter combines recruitment, preparation, mobility, and ongoing support in one connected system. Instead of managing separate recruiters, trainers, and visa providers, host companies work with one partner from search to stable placement.
We support host companies within agriculture, livestock farming, horticulture, food processing, hospitality, and related operational sectors across Europe.
Bixter candidates are students or graduates within agriculture, horticulture, food technology, and related programmes in their home countries. They are motivated young professionals who invest in their own traineeship journey through visa and travel costs to gain practical European experience connected to their education.
Candidates already have:
– Knowledge of farming or production systems
– Basic understanding of machinery and livestock handling
– Practical educational background related to the placement
– Strong motivation to build an international career

The average arrival timeline is approximately 3–4 months because local visa and residence permit steps are mandatory.
For this reason, we recommend that host companies plan their international talent needs early, especially before seasonal peaks or periods with higher operational demand.
Bixter provides a one-month replacement guarantee.
A replacement can be arranged free of charge in cases of:
– Significant mismatch with agreed recruitment criteria
– Consistently low performance
– Violations related to drugs or alcohol

For Danish traineeship programs, candidates may need to document their English level through recognised language tests, depending on the specific visa and program requirements.

Completing Bixter Academy does not guarantee a placement if you do not meet the visa requirements. Visa rules are set by the embassies and remain essential throughout the process. However, for candidates who are eligible for Bixter programs, completing the Bixter Academy course increases your recruitment priority — you will be considered as a priority candidate.
