The Norwegian Migration Service has developed a visa category for Non-EU nationals as work and residence permit, under the category of “Skilled Worker”. These regulations allow experienced professionals  from Non-EU countries to work in Norway with extension possibilities for their visas.

This option is intended for professionals with proven relevant experience from 1 year duration, completed university degrees, sufficient English level to continue their professional development via work and residence permit in Norway.

It is important to note that the average waiting period for the arrival of an employee is typically around 4 months. This is primarily due to the mandatory visa processing time. Waiting time for work and residence permit remains the same even if an employee applies for the visa from Norway.

Please note that employees from Non-EU countries aren’t allowed to start working until the appropriate work and residence permit is issued to your place.
